The deep feeling of loyalty to the Empire among the people of South Africa is demonstrated bv a letter received by the Hev. R. S. Lawry, of Oliristchurch, from his son, Lieutenant R. A. B. Lawry, who is in a London hospital, where iiia wounds are being attended to. Lieutenant Lawry states that a South African lady, of Dutch parentage whq visited the wounded men, has two brothers.
