Marine underwriters have received a cablegram statin™ that a fire broke out on the steamer Eiouw on November 0 and was extinguished after discharging a portion of the cpal cargo. The Indian Monarch was abandoned on I .fire. The captain and seventeen of the crew landed at St. Helena.
