To Hie Editor. Sir,—Are we to understand as ratepayers, etc., of this town that our tram service on Sundays is likely.to be jeopardised by a meeting of church-goers? I trust those councillors who had such power at their last meeting to vote free rides will insist upon being able to got the same 011 Sundays The public look for trams, as in larger cities, to get about a little, and expect borough councillors on this occasion to do their duty Sometimes they want a lead. Some wait for the cat to jump. All the same, we ratepayers want the trams.—l am, etc., NORTHERNER. New Plymouth, November IS.
