Advices have been received to the effect that the Commonwealth and Dominion liner 'Port Augusta had a mishap whilst on her way to Genoa from Australia. It appears that she was in the Red Sea when she struck some submerged obstacle. One of the propeller blades was carried away, but otherwise the steamer did not suffer, and she, reached Genoa unassisted. Arrangements were at once made for her to dock for repairs, and when the work was carried out she left for New York to load for Melbourne and New Zealand ports.
