'Meetings of several Farmers and Settlers' Asociations passed, resolutions protesting against the Government's wheat scheme, on the ground that an advance of iis M was not sufficient to meet their obligations. They considered that the scheme would have disastrous effects on wheat-growers generally. Perth, Nov. IC. The Farmers and Settlers' Association is dissatisfied with the Government'* wheat scheme.
