XAUTICAL ENQUIRY By Telegraph.—Press Assocmtioa Wellington, Nov 15. At tlio nautical enquiry eoiieeniiiur the recent misliiip to the Mapouriku, which touched Clay Point, near the French I'ass, the evidence showed that the captain set what should have proved even a safer course than usual, as the, night was very dark arid a severe electrical storm was experienced. The captain and other witnesses attributed the mishap to the compass being affected by the electric disturbance of the atmosphere. The Court expects to give its finding late in the afternoon
