The following business, additional to what was reported in our Saturday's issue, was transacted at Friday's meeting of the Egmont County Council:— TENDERS. The following tenders were accepted' Contract 282. Coffee and Leatherby, 5s sd; contract 283, Momona and fi. Horo, 5s ftd; contract 28*, Coffee and Leatherby, 8s l»/ad. STATEMENT OF BALANCES. The statement of riding balances were read as follows:—Oeo riding, debit March 31, £487; debit in September, £1193; Opunake, debit, £485: debit in. September, £429; Rahotu, debit £719, March 31 £1109; Rahotu Northern, debit £2552; total debit March 31, £3121, GENERAL. The stump in front of the Awatuna Hall was ordered to be removed. The bridge foreman suggested iu his report that the hands on the bridge building be allowed to work overtime. —Agreed to. Accounts were passed for payment.
