The average price obtained la9t season was Is per lb, as against Is 3d and la 4d this year, so that the value of the respective shipments is about as follows: i 1915-16. 1914-15. £ £ Otaki 75.852 14,226 Rimutaka 101,856 70,072 Arawa 128,893 70,00") Turakina 108,705 00,864 Totals £472,300 £215,167 The Turakina also loaded 235" crates of cheese, valued at 9787, and 6400 quarters of beef and sundries, worth about £18,500 f.o.b. This makes a total of 4780 crates of cheese sent away this season. The vessel was full of produce when she east off from the wharf to commence her voyage to London—so full that she could not take the 2500 crates for which, space had been booked, and 113 crates were left behind.
