Passed Man akau Heads at 6 p.m. THE REGULUS. The Regulus left Creymouth at 12.10 yesterday morning for New Plymouth with between 400 and 500 tons of coal and is expected to arrive here to-day. She will start discharging at 8 in the morning.
THE KTN7. The Kini leaves Dunedin on Saturday for Wellington, and West Coast ports. She will call at New Plymouth if the cargo warrants a call. STEAMER HAUPIRI SOLD. The Union Company has sold the steamer Haupiri, which has been laid lip at Wellington for several years past. The purchaser's name in not disclosed, but it is understood the Haupiri goes to South Africa. The vessel has lately, been extensively overhauled. TIMBER VESSEL FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. According to the American Timberuian, three vessels are at present on their way from the Pacific Coast to New Zealand with Oregon pine. One of the vessels is coming to Wellington, and the other two to Lyttelton and New Plymouth respectively. No mention is made of the names of the vessels. DUNEDIN WATERSIDERS' BALLOT.
The recent Dunedin waterside workers' ballot with regard to ceasing work at 10 p.m., resulted as follows:—171 votes for and 33 votes against. The ballot on the subject of observing not less than one hour for meals resulted: 181 votes for and 23 votes against, STEAMERS REPORTED. The head office of the New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised that the Waimate left Durban for London on November 7. The Otaki, bound for New Zealand ports to London, left Tenerifl'c on November C; and R.M.S. Remuera, en route from London to New Zealand, cleared Capetown for Auckland on November 8.
TO SAIL FROM LIVERPOOL The Shaw, S&vill and Albion Company advise that the following vessels are fixed to leave Liverpool:— Delphic, on November 15, for Australia; due New Zealand about January 25. Zealandic, on November 30, for Australia; due New Zealand about January, 31Waimana, on December 17, for Australia; due in New Zealand about February eo.
