JN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 16, "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and with the consent of the Ratepayers of the Komene Road Special Rating Area, in the County of Taranaki,. herinafter describ- | ea, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers of the said special rating area, the capital value of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said special rating area is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who do not consent, the Taranaki Coijgty Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order that for the purpose of forming and metalling the Komene Road, the Taranaki County Council hereby authorises the raising of a Special Loan of £7OO at *4"'/ 3 per cent, per annum for a period of thirty-six and a-half years, and declares that the cost of raising the said loan and the first year's interest of the loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised. The Special Rating Area over which the rate is to be charged as security_J»r the loan is subdivisions 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13 of section 4, block 5, Cape Survey District. Tlie foregoing resolution was duly passed at a' special meeting of the Council held on the second day of November, 1915, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to'be held in the Council Chambers, Robe Street, New Plymouth, at 11 a.m. on TUESDAY, the 7th day of December, 1915.
