HELP FOR SERBIA.
BRITAIN'S ACTION. MEETING GERMAN AEROPLANE ACTIVITY.
Received Nov. 10, 5.6 p.m. London, Nov. 9,
In the House of Commons, replying to questions, Sir Edward Grey said he could only reply that to Serbia's appeal for help, after consultation with Lord Kitchener and the Cabinet, he informed Serbia that we were sending troops to Salonika, but that their subsequent movement must depend on Greece's attitude. So far as his recollection went, his reply to Serbia was communicated to the Cabinet. We are giving all the assistance in our power. He believed that it was decided on September 24 to Send Serbia a larger force than the remnant of the Tenth Division, consisting of thirteen thousand men under General Mahon. Mr. Tennant, in reply to a question in the Commons, said the Government had taken steps to compete against Germany's activity in constructing large and swift aeroplanes.
