Expenditure.—Socials and dances, £79 7s; picnics, £9O 13s 4d; caretaker, £ls; materials, etc., for improvement, £52 Gs lOd; electric light, £l2 19s 2d; printing, stationery, and postage, £0 83 3d; cost of bathing costumes, £5 Gs Id; Belgian contribution, £SO Is 3d; rent of reserve, £7; pavilion furnishings, • £ls; extension of pavilion, £305 5s Gd; contribution to hospital ship, £0; sundries, £2 17s; cash in bank, £7O 4s 2d. The chairman moved the adoption of the balance-sheet, and this was seconded by Mr. S. Stroud and carried without discussion. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The following office-bearers were elected:—Patron, His Worship the Mayor (Mr. C. H. Burgc-ss); vice-presi-dents, all last year's vice-presidents were re-clected; chairman, Mr. S. J. Smitli (Mr. F. C. J. Bellringer declined to stand for re-election); lion, sec., Mr W. Roch (re-elected); general committee, same as last year; executive committee, Messrs. P. J-. Flannagaii, C. Roebuck, G. Tippins, L. Lealand, W. Gunson, and If. Bellringer; social committee, Messrs. P. J. Flannagan, C. Roebuck, W. Gunson, L. Lealand, G. Lambert, and A. Christian; ground committee, Messrs. R. Bennoch, f>. Tippins, S. Stroud, A. Christian, H. Feek. F. Danks, C. Roebuck, Geo. Gunson, G. Feek, W. llardwick, and 11. Belllinger ; assistant secretaries, Messrs. R. Bennoch and P. J. Flannagan. GENERAL. Mr. Bellringer said that thanks were due to Mr. R. liennoch for the time and labor lie hail given to the laying out of»the reserve. Mr. Bennoch said that lie was not the only one who had done anything; several others had come forward most willingly to help him. It was decided to hold a meeting on Monday next to make arrangements in connection with the picnic to be held 011 New Year's Day. Votes of thanks were accorded to the Borough Council, the ladie3, the pres3, the hon. secretary, the lion, treasurer, and to the retiring chairman.
