THE FOOD FAMINE. PAPERS PROTEST. Received Nov. 9, 11.50 p.m. Amsterdam, Nov. 0. The Leipsie paper Volks Zeitung pubpended, owing to its criticising the Government in reference to the food supply. Tli elaepsic paper Volks Zeitung publishes a manifesto calling a meeting to protest against the high food prices. It says: "Whilst our sons and workers are bleeding on the battlefields, an intolerable famine oppresses the people everywhere in Germany.
