THE EMPIRE. The well-known melodrama, "A!one in Loudon," forms the star attraction at the Empire Theatre for this evening. The picture is said to be exceptionally well produced, and the leading role is sustained by Miss Florence Turner, who is well known as one of the finest artists of the screen. The story of the llitreated and neglected wife and her trims amid the wickedness of the world's metropolis is familiar to most, and the picturised version presents the plot in a most convincing and realistic manner without overdoing the extremely melodramatic situations. Those popular favorites, Anita Stewart and Earle Williams, make a welcome reappearance on the Empire's screen in a bright comedy written by Alfred Ince, and entitled "The Right Girl." A very pleasing drama is entitled "The Problem," which shows bow a mother saw, in a dream, the effects of her daughter's loveless marriage to a rich man, and was thereby moved to change her opinion and permit the young lady to marry her choice. A very interesting scenic study is "A Trip to Luxor,'' a village on the Upper Nile, where there are many famous antiquities from the city of ancient Thebes. G&umont's Graphic presents pictorially many interesting war happenings.
