awi TO MOBE NURSES WANTED. EXCEPT AS SUBSTITUTES. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, Yesterday. Miss Mac Lean, matron-in-chief of the New Zealand Army Service, in a report from Egypt, states that she does not consider it necessary to send further contingents of nurses to Egypt. She would rather advise that further contingents lie sent to. relieve those already there, if, and when, they show undue strain. She considered it would be unwise to send untrained women to assist the nurses iu hospitals in Egypt and suggested that no troopship should be sent awry without nurses.
