GREEK PREMIERSHIP. M. ZAIMIS DECLINES. By Cable.—Press Association—Copyright London, Nov. 5. King Constantine re-offered the Premiership to M. Zaimis, who declined it. A Council of Ministers has been called. GENERAL MOVEMENTS. ALLIED TROOPS CONTINUE TO LAND Paris, Nov 5. A communique says: The Bulgarians are entrenching opposite Krivolak, 200 metres from our outposts. The Serbians forced battle on General Bojadjeff south-eastward of Nish, compelling him to retreat and taking many prisoners.
The British troops functioned with the French at Strumnitza. The French front has been extended as far as the Bapuca Range and eastward of Krivolak. A Serbian Army Corps is stationed in Albanian territory to suppress any hostile movement.
Times and Sydney Sun Services. London, Nov 5.
Anglo-French transports are pouring in troops to Salonika. They are an excellent stamp of seasoned men. The equinoctial gales are over, and calm, sunny weather is expediting the movements. THE LUST FOR BLOOD. GERMANS GO MAD. Geneva, Nov. 5. The Journal de Geneve states that the Germans massacred men, women, and children at Duciclia, southward of Powarevafcz, indiscriminately and wholesale. Eye-witnesses declare that the Germans apparently went suddenly mad, killing without, knowing why. There was also a general massacre at Selvatz, southward of Semendria. Helpless old men and invalids were taken from their teds to a public square and executed in the presence of the population.
Old men, women, and children were bayonetted at Sopot, 25 miles southeastward of Belgrade, houses were fired and those attempting to escape were shot down. The German allegation that civilians fired at them is absolutely false.
