BUTTER AND CHEESE.
FIFTH SHIPMENT FROM NEW PLYMOUTH. ESTIMATED VALUE £67,750. TARANAKI EXPORTS TO DATE. The fiftli shipment of the new season's produce to be exported from New Plymouth will consist of 6000 crates of cheese and 12,500 boxes of butter, and wfll be shipped by the Corinna leaving on Monday week. At Wellington the produce will be transhipped to the Rangatira. This will probably prove to be the most valuable consignment sent from here this season, for it is expected the cheese will realise £24,000 and the butter £43,750, a total of £67,750. The following table shows the quantities of butter and cheese exported from Taranaki this season and the amounts the shipments are expected to realise.
