STATEMENT BY MR. MASSEY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Nov. 3. Referring to the Imperial cheese purchase, Mr. Massey said to-night that no proclamation would be. necessary in connection with the scheme, the powers in the hands of the Government being ample already. Each dairy factory engaged in the manufacture of cheese would be informed of the proportion of its output required for Imperial purposes. The prices had been fixed by the Board of Trade, They were not speculative prices, but they were good prices.
