SELF-DENIAL EFFORT. OISBORXE'S RECORD. Wellington, November 1. The Salvation Army's self-denial effort closed to-night, with a Dominion total of £22,392, as against • £19,098 last year. The Gisborne corps last year achieved the distinction of securing the best result of an yin the world with £2140. This year it improved on this, getting £2300.
