Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds generally, veering to increasing nortlicrlies shortlv in and southward of Cook Strait. Changeable and showery conditions are probable in the West Coast and southernmost districts of the South Island, and fair to cloudy weather elsewhere. The barometer is; unsteady.
