The adjourned meeting of the Board was held at the District Lands Office, New Plymouth, yesterday morning, when there were present: Mr. G. H. Bullard (Commissioner), in the chair, and Messrs. Jno. Heslop and A. Coxhead. TRANSFERS AND SUB-LEASES. Sections 2, and 3, Block VIII., Ngatimaru S.D., 458 acres; section 4, block VIII., Ngatimaru S.D.. 250 acres; section 6, block VIII., Ngatimaru S.D.. 252 acres, from A. Featherstone to W. H. and G. A. Swanger.—Approved in view of reduced consideration.

Section 19, block VI., Huiroa S.D., 242 acres, from J. W. Harding to V. S. Harding.—Approved. Section 3, block VHI., Huiroa S.D., 9SO acres, from F. M. Thomson to AV. A. Officer.—Approved, after a deal of discussion, Mr. Heslop dissenting on the grounds of aggregation. Sections 10, 52. Block I, Mahoe S.D., l'Sl acres 2 roods 37 perches; sections 18, 20, block 1., Mahoe S.D., 138 acres 3 rood' 3 perches; section 23, Block 1., Mahoe S.D., 2'4 acres 0 roods 36 perches; sections 63, block 1.. MISCELLANEOUS. Messrs E. P. Gould and N. 11. Arden by their attorney, E. Dive, applied for an extension of time in which to effect the required improvements on O.K.P. section 3, block VTII., Oraona 5.1)., 1397 acresGranted 12 months' extension of time in which to complete required improvements. Arthur J. Woolston, licensee of O.R.P. section 11, block XVI., Ohura S.D., 315 acres, applied for exemption from personal residence for a period, having enilisted for active service.—Granted 13 months' leave of absence. Messrs Govett and Quilliam, solicitors, applied for a rehearing of the application of transfer A. P. Pouting and J. M. McLeod to Clias. Stone of O.R.P. section 7, block 111., Upper Waitara S.D., CSS acres, which was refused by the Board on 27th inst on the grounds of aggregation.—Resolved to adhere to Board's resolution refusing the application.

Mr. Maca lister, solicitor, applied for a rehearing of the application of transfer from A. E. Darragh to T. and M. E. Huzziff of 1.F.5., section 24, block XII., Huiroa S.D., refused by the Board on 27th inst on the grounds of aggregation. —Approved, on account of want of access to freehold land at the back.
