RUSSIAN SUCCESSES. ENEMY AGAIN SUFFERS HEAVILY. Received Oct. 29, 11.5 p.m. Petvograd, Oct. 21). A communique states that the enemy north-eastward of Garbunowka occupied some trenches, but a counter attack dislodged them. During a furious attack undertaken under threat of being fired upon by their own artillery the Germans suffered tremendous losses.
The enemy attempting to advance eastward on the left bank of tiie Styr were driven back with heavy losses. Three enemy attacks westward of Chartoysk were, repulsed.
