LONG-SERVICE MEDALS.
FOR RETIRED POSTAL OffiMCIALS. By Telegraph.—'Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The King has authorised the granting of long service medal* of the imperial Sirvioe Order to six retired members' of the New Zealand postal service. The medals are granted to lower grade officers for long and meritorious service in State departments in any part of the Empire, The following are the recipients and their length of service, the date of their retirement being given in parenthesis:— James Burrow, letter-carrier's sorter, Wellington, 35 years and 10 months' service (Sept. lftOii). George Morcom, letter-carrier, Blenheim, 32 years and 2 months' service (June 1908). William Parlane, lineman, Milton, 'M years and 11 months' service (June 1908). Clifford Sage, lineman, Asliburton. 3") years and 2 months' service (Jiin\ 1908). Sarah Broek, cadette, Wellington, 3.3 years and 1 months' service (June, 1908).
