HER UNSHAKEN SOLIDARITY. STRIKING INSTANCES. Received Oct. 21, 7.20 p.m. Loudon, Oct. 20. Mr. Austen Chamberlain announced that the Dalai- Mama of Thibet oll'ered one thousand troops at the outset of the war, and befiagged Lhassa (the capital) in honor o'f General Botha's victory. The Ameer of Afghanistan, said Mr. Chamberlain, had given striking proof of friendship, and these, instances were conclusive evidence of the unshaken solidarity of India and the neighboring countries in the defence of the Empire.
