Received Oct. 21. !).:jo p.m. T , Sydney, Oct. 21. In the Assembly Hon. D. E. Hall gave notice of a Bill restricting hotel hours from eight in the morning to ten at night instead of the previous hours from bix a.m. till eleven p.m. It will also provide that instead of the public being allowed to purchase liquor for six hours on Good Friday and Christmas Day to consume off the premises the time limit will be four hours on these days, with consumption on the premises. There is much press and public criticism at the Government ignoring the Assembly's vote in favor of nine o'clock closing and the futility of shortening the night drinking hours only.
