The Royal Humane Society granted the following awards to-day:— Case of John Lyell Deighton (20) and Henry Allen Evetts, for attempting to rescue Thomas James Stevenson (43) from drowning at Napier, on July 15, 1916.—Deighton was awarded a gold medal and Evetts a certificate. Case of Walter OrmsT>y (15), for rescuing two boys, William and Norman Speedy, from drowning at Wailii on July 14, 1015.—Silver medal. Case of Wm. Joseph Bishop (£9), for rescuing John H. Gilchrist (35) from drowning at Giaborne on January 21, 1915.—Silver medal. Case of Maurice L. Davis (39), for rescuing Cecil Timmins (4) from drowning, at Wailtfno, on July 1, 1915, Bronze medal, Case of H&ns Edgar (35), for attempting to rescue Frederick Patton (30) from drowning at Karangahake, on April 25, 1915. —Bronze medal. Case of Charles S. V. Pearce (15), for rescuing Neil Culling (11) from drowning at Ashburton, on July 17, 1018.— Framed certificate. Case of Senior-Sergeant Thomas Bourke (58), for rescuing Joan Bree (2) from drowning- at Wanganui, on July 11, 1915.—Certificate. Case of Henry Jame3 Thompson (22), for rescuing Alfred Musson (23) from drowning at Olive Grange, on Jaauary 6, 1915.—Bronze medaL
