London, Oct. 10. A dispatch from Athens states that the Allies have informed Greece that thiey intend sending large reinforcements to the Balkans. NATURAL FRIENDS. GREEKS AND THE ALLIES FRATERNISE. Salonika, Oct. Id. Soldiers of the 3rd Greek Army Corps have been ordered to salute the Allied officers. They fraternise ,vwtk the Franco-British, and the whole of them are natural friends. Forty thousand Anglo-French were concentrated at Salonika on Wednesday. A GERMAN REPORT, SUCCESSES ALL ROUND. Received Oct. 20, 8.30 pjn. London, Oct. 19. A German wireless claims that General von Koveas has captured Obretoviz. Austro-German units after a battle reached the heights eastward of Vranic and southward of Groca. The Bulgarians also captured Vrania, and, further south, crossed the EgripulankaIshtep line. General Hindenburg stormed several positions and reached the Dvina eastward of Borkovits. INFORMATION FOR GREECE. MORE TROOPS TO BE LANDED. Revived Oct. 20, 8.10 p.m. Athens, Oct. 19. BritaU and Russia have informed M. Zaimis that the Allies are sending considerable reinforcements to the Balkan front. The two Powers have explained their views concerning the evolution of events, and also their interpretation of the Grelco-Serbian treaty, which is apparently not in conformity with that of M. Zaimis. MUTINOUS BULGARIANS. ! COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF UNPOPULAR. RUSSIA SENDING TROOPS. Received Oct. 20, S.lO p.m. London, Oct. 19. A Bulgarian regiment near Kinehevatz mutinied, refusing to right against the Serbians. Their colonel was killed, and the rest of the division surrounded the mutineers and decimated them. Rome, Oct. 19. The Tribuna states that General JekofT is unpopular. Several regiments have mutinied, and numbers or* officers have refused to obey the Germans. Two colonels were shot by General Jekoff's orders. There are indications that Russia is sending a large contingent to Macedonia.

Received Oct. 20, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 1,9. The Tageblatt considers it improbable that the troops now landing at Salonika will arrive in time to help Serbia. The Frankfurter Zeitung says that the value of the landing at Salonika is problematical, as the whole strategic situation was anticipated by the decision of the Entente.
