WAR'S BLOODIEST OUTRAGE.
THE MURDER OF MISS CAVELL. HORROR IN ENGLAND. London, Oct. 17. Miss Caven, who was executed by the Germans at Brussels in August, was the daughter of a former vicar of Swardeston. Her execution has sent a thrill of horror throughout the country. Received Oct. 18, 11.30 p.m. Amsterdam, Oct. 18. Details of the execution of Miss Cavell show that a German firing party awaited their victim in a garden in Brussels. She was led in blindfolded, and faced the firing party, but her strength gave way and she fell to the ground. An officer drew hi 3 pistol and blew out her brains. The Belgian community describe the deed as the bloodiest outrage of the whole war.
