VICTORIAN PARLIAMENT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, Oct. 14. In the Assembly, the division on Mr. McLcod's no-confidence motion resulted in a Government victory by 30 votes to 20. The Laborites voted with the Government. WESTRALIAN LICENSING BILL. Perth, Oct. 14. The Legislative Council amended the Licensing Act, which provided that hotel hours should be from 9 a.m. to 0 p.m., and added an anti-shouting clause, with a penalty of £5 for treating on licensed premises. ' AUSTRALIA DAY FUND. Sydney, Oct. 14. The New South Wales Australia Day Fund has reached £745,000.
