The Taulicrcmkau camp had been designed to contain 3500 men, and plans had been prepared for placing , an additional 1000 men there, bringing the total number up to 4500. The enlargement would not entail a great deal oh expense, since most of tile main build- ' ings would serve, under the new conditions. The temporary camp at May Morn (Upper llutt) had proved highly satisfactory, and it would, be retained. Later, the camp at Rangiotu ,• would be occupied. ______ T. \ V. '
