NEW ZEALAND CAMPS. i By Telegraph.—'Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. 'J he decision of the (ju-vermnent tok accelerate the despatch of reinforcements, and to increase tiio sttength of the drafts, makes it necessary for the Defence Department to arrange for increased cuinp accommodation. 'Mie Defence Minister stated to-day thas provision had been made at Trenthsjn .camp for the accommodation of 4500 men, .and it was not proposed to iniereasia this number. The Taulicrcmkau camp had been designed to contain 3500 men, and plans had been prepared for placing , an additional 1000 men there, bringing the total number up to 4500. The enlargement would not entail a great deal oh expense, since most of tile main build- ' ings would serve, under the new conditions. The temporary camp at May Morn (Upper llutt) had proved highly satisfactory, and it would, be retained. Later, the camp at Rangiotu ,• would be occupied. ______ T. \ V. '
