TARANAKI PRESBYTERY.

The Prosbytery met in Hawera on October 7, Bev. Mr. Pattison presiding in the absence of Mr. Shore. Apologies - wore received from Messrs Earn, Shore, Ma/uliarmid and Ireland. ] The clerk reported that Evangelist 1 Cummin? would commence liis work within the bounds next April, and Messrs Patti3cn and Howes, with their Presbytery ciders, were appointed to prepare an itinerary. Eevs. Messrs Shore, Pattison, Lowery and Howes mid Messrs Bridge, Ireland, I Liiley and a representative from Opunake were appointed delegates to the Assembly at Auckland. Mr. Lowery reported that Mr. Norrie .'.as ordained at Whangamomoha as a home missionary on September 21, A commission, Messrs Shore, Pattison, Lowery and Hooves, with their was appointed to enquire into the whole .' question of re-adjustment of bounds of parishes and report to next meeting, 1 The New 'Plymouth congregation wrote thanking the Presbytery and Presbytery t cleric, Mr. Howes, for assistance rendered during Mr. Eesevcare's illness.
