Tho American Trading Company has chartered the Japanese steamer Tennerin Maru to load at Hakodate for New Zealand ports. The Home liner Star of Australia (from London) should arrive at Auckland from Sydney on Thursday, and at Wellington about October 20. It is understood that when the Marama is taken off the Sydney-Wel-lington-San Francisco service 'the running will be maintained by the Mai tai and Moana. Instead of going on to Sydney, however, Wellington will be made the vessels' terminal port. Tlie Karamca, en route from Canada to New Zealand ports, is at present at Sydney. As the Hurunui was delayed by rain up the coast, her departure from Wellington for Loudon, via Sydney, did not take place till yesterday,
