Preßent indications are for increasing cloud and haziness, with mild and humid conditions, and rain following, but warm and sultry for a short time in the East Coast districts, with easterly breezes backing to freshening northerlies in the north, and increasing northerlies in the south. The barometer is falling everywhere soon for a westerly disturbance, likely to pass in the South Island about Thursday.
