YESTERDAY'S PROCEEDINGS. By T6legra,pa.- J Prew As»oei*tioE. Auckland, Last Night. At (.he Baptitt Union Conference today, Mr. Anton submitted the report of the Wellington, or Central, Auxiliary. This stated that the work of Churches had been transferred owing to the number of men wh; had responded to the Empire's call. The Central Auxiliary had joined with the I'resbyterians, Congregationalists and Methodists in having an undenominational institute at the camp, the Patriotic Association of ,Wairarapa making itself large responsible for a commodious building. The Auxiliary might have to provide £2OO .towards cost of the building, and also a portion of expenses of upkeep. They would also reqrire to provide for the comfort of our boys ou the hospital ship. A deputation from the Ministers' Association was warmly welcomed, and entertained at lur.rh.
