A public demonstration arranged by the Dunediir Chamber of-Commerce, in co-operation with the Otago Expansion League and Otago Trades and Labor Council, was held last night, to carry a series of resolutions affirming the desirability of the citizens of Dunediu and the Dominion doing their utmost to help in the war for commercial supremacy of the British Empire. The. speeches were of a high order of patriotism, and resolutions in favor of buying British goods to the exclusion of German goods, were carried with acclamation,—Press Association,
