FOUND DEAD.
LABORER DIES AT AWAKIXO. A man named Milo Henry l'itzpatriek, who had 'been working on Hie roads in Awakino district for some weeks past, died suddenly in Awakino township yesterday. In the morning lie decided, for some reason, not to go to work, and a little later oil lie was seen to be more or less under the inllueiice oi liquor. At noon l'itzpatriek was noticed leaning over a log in the township, apparently asleep, hut an hour later he was found to he (lend.
l'itzpatriek was a stranger to the district, and the police have no information as to his antecedents or who his relatives ar.>. He was about ;i."i years of age, sft. 3hi. in height and of slight build, with black hair and moustache, and blue eyes.
An inquest will be held before a jury ut Awakino to-dav. ,
