SCHOOLS OF EMPIRE MATCH. By Telegraph.—Dress Association. Wellington, Yesterday. The results of the Schools of Empire shooting eompetkm for the year are to hand. In the Senior Competition for the Prince of Wales Challenge Cup, Auckland Grammar School secured sixth place, Nelson College 14th, and Vyaitaki Boys' High School registered the highest score of the whole of the competing schools in this contest, but was disqualified for non-compliajuoe with the rules. Auckland finished first in the Junior Competition for the Natal Shield. PATEA.v. INGLEWOOD. Tile following team lias been selected to defend the shield against Patea at Inglewood on Thursday. The match will start at 8 ajn. to enable the visitors to catch the 2 o'clock train:—Biflemen T. King. J. Drummond, M. Marsh, Pres. Taylor, H. Hall, W. Haslett, J. Bowman E. Surrey, 0. Spnrdle.
