General Ruszkyp is hammering at General von Buelow's left flank from the direction of Mitau, and may cause a diversion, favoring Dvinsk. The Russians re-captured Postavk, and have finally broken up the enemy's front on the Solymolodetchna-Glubokoi-Vidzy line. They dispersed the Germans at Svieatsiany, and met with successes on the eastern situation at Dvinsk, but they are not yet free from peril by envelopment.
