BULGAR DUPUCITY. OLD FEUDS REVIVED. Received Oct. 5, 5.5 p.m. Athens, Oct. 4. Immediately the Turco-Bulgnrian agreement was signed Turkey evacuated the fortresses on the Bulgarian frontier, and transferred eighty thousand troops, mostly untrained recruits, to a fortified line between the capital and the Dardanelles.

IN A FIX ALREADY.
BULGARIA WANTS MILITARY SUPPORT. Received Oct. 5, 9.35 p.m. Rome, Oct. 4, II Messagero's Bucharest correspondent says that M. Savoff has gone to Berlin to explain, the situation of the Bulgarian army, and to ask Germany for immediate military support. ALLIES' PROPOSALS LAPSED. Received Oct. 5, 9.36 p.m. London, Oct. 4. Router reports that owing to the recent developments it must be taken that the Bulgarian Government has rejected the Allies' proposals, to which no answer; has been returned, and consequently the proposals have lapsed.
UNDER SEALED ORDERS. ■RUSSIAN FLEET LEAVES ODESSA. Received Oct. 5, 9.35 p.m. New York, Oct. 5. A message from Potrograd states that a fully ripiipped Russian squadron has left Odessa under sealed orders. It is presumed that Russia is preparing an attack on Bulgaria by sea and land. The coastal waters are known to he mined.
THE ALLIES* PLANS. RUSSIA'S DESCENT BY SEA. Received Oct. 6, 12.35 a.m. London, Oct. 5. The landing of the Anglo-French Balkan expeditionary force is not yet officially announced, but from Greek newspapers' comments there is a clear assumption that the landing is progressing or has been completed. It is generally expected that the Allies will occupy Dcdeagatcli, and that the Russians will descend on Varna and Burgas, where it will be easy to disperse the few Bulgarian torpedo-craft. Russia has organised a sufficient tonnage of transport for an expeditionary force to Varna, and even a. feint to put troops ashore would detain a large Bulgarian army which would otherwise be available to attack Serbia. OFFICIAL GREEK STATEMENT. LANDING OF THE ALLIES WELCOMED. Received Oct. G, 12.35 a.m. Athens, Oct. 5. Le Patl-ias, the chief Government organ states that any attempt to resist disembarkation of the Allied troops would not be approved by the Greek people. The Central Powers have no right to take exception to Greece's attitude, since Greece has formally protested against the. violation of her neutrality, and resistance would expose Greece to certain destruction. The Greek Government's passive protest faithfully reflects the counsels that Germany gave King Albert before the invasion of Belgium. The Greek people are not failing in their manifest feelings of gratitude and traditional sympathy with the prospect of the Anglo-French landing.
GERMAN PAPERS' VIEW. SCOFFS AT THE LANDING. "WHERE ENGLAND STEPS SHE STAYS." Received Oct. (i, 12.50 a.m. Berlin, Oct. !>. The Frankl'i!rtcr Zcitung states that England's threats to land at Salonika are attempts to frighten Greece, which cannot he taken seriously. It is impossible to see where the Entente can get inO.ODU men if the landing is to be attempted. Greece will have urgent interest in preventing (he landing, as where England plants her feet she generally stavs.
The Kreuz Zeitung similarly scoff 3 at the idea of 150,000 troops landing to support Serbia.
