IX AID OF WOUNDED SOLDIERS. Willi the praiseworthy desire of assisting tin' bowlers' fund for wounded soldiers Mr. R. Cock has kindly placed the howling green at his private residence (Overdale) at the disposal of the Taranaki Bowling Centre on Thursday, October 14, with a suggestion that a match between picked rinks representing the Fitzroy and West End greens he played, the proceeds to be given to the Bowlers' Wounded Soldiers' Fund. The proposal is one that should warmly commend itself to bowlers.
