As it is ' necessary to close the fund by next Monday at latest, subscription* should be sent in at once. Mr, W. .1, Chaney, the treasurer of the fund, attends an. office next to Messrs W. J. Shaw and Co., in Brougham Street, every afternoon between two and three o'clock, and subscriptions will also be received the Daily Xews Office.
