There nas been considerable improvement in recruiting during the past few •lays. A MISSING STEAMER. Fremantle, Sept. 29. A 3teamer has returned from a fruitless search for the steamer Yeddo, which was reported last wecK to be disabled with a broken tail-shaft 200 miles southeast of Albany. The v e ddo was bound from Texas to Fremantle with a cargo of oil.
