Won by two lengths, a length between second and third. Time, lmin. 31 l-2sec. TE RINGI STEEPLECHASE.—Naupata 1, Happy Jack 2, Merry Lad 3. Also started: Parawanui and Katua. Parawanui fell at the second jump. Naupata led throughout and won easily, a nose separating second and third. Time, 3min. 55see. PRESIDENT'S HANDICAP. —Rena 1, Botanist 2, Haumakaha 3. Also started: Square Deal, faster Moutoa, Iminer, 'Gold Soult, His Eminence, Peroneal, Prince Laddo, Merrie Gain, Plunder, Seatondale. A good race, won toy a neck, the same between second and third. Time, lmin. 431-6, ELECTRIC HACK.—Happiness 1, Manu 2, Sir Saracen 3. Also started: Tiora, Limpet, Jean Laddo, Ally, Miss Clements, and Martial Air. Happiness led all the way and won by half a length, Sir Saracen close up. Time, lmin, 2 3-ss«c. RAILWAY HANDlCAP.—'Taringamutu 1, Peronilla 2, Pavlova 3. Also started: Goldstream, Sinapis, Hushabye, Powder Fox, Medallist, and Improve. Won by three-parts of a length. Peronilla and Pavlova led the greater part of the distance, tint were replaced by 1 Taringamutu when well in the straight, j Time, lmin. 13 4-Ssee.
