SPRING FASHIONS.

AMBUKY'S ANNUAL DISPLAY. During the past quarter of a century, one of the features of the spring has been the annual show of millinery, etc., at Ambury's. The twenty-fifth show will open this morning at 9 o'clock, as usual, despite the fact that the great European war has materially interfered with the production and shipment of every class of goods. Ambury's have, howercr, succeeded in securing a most tempting and attractive display of spring and summer apparel. This is tastefully arrange in the show-rooms, both upstairs and • downstairs, and inspection will prove that the firm can supply with confidence the demands of the most fastidious. There are hundreds of charming hats in various shapes, colors and material to select from, including charming French and English models, the essense of artistic taste. Splendid ranges of latest costumes in tweeds, coatings, gaberdines, and washing materials are on view in all sizes. A great collection of smart frocks, in light textiles, silks, and voiles, with a handsome lot of white embroidered dresses are sure to be greatly admired. The variety of black, white and colored blouses in silks, voiles, and crepe de chine is most pleasing. Sports' coats, Mazers, and dust coasts are shown in groat variety, together with every conceivable shade in rich satin underskirts, making up a most dainty show. Dress fabrics, hosiery, gloves, neck wear, and furnishing goods in profusion are worthy of inspection.
