HOURS OF MINERS. Sydney, Sept. 27. A mass meeting of the Amalgamated Miners' Association at Broken Hill rejected a proposal to hold a referendum on the question of 44 hours weekly. The meeting voted that underground men finish on Saturdays at 4 o'clock,
