The Press Bureau states that a French official communication confirms the reports that the Turks took advantage of their opportunity completely to destroy the Armenian nation. The Armenians were forced to evacuate all •their towns and villages in Asia Minor and were deported to Arabia and Mesopotamia. All the Armenians in Constantinople, lawyers, doctors, and professors, were systematically exiled and their goods confiscated.
