GENERAL TELEGRAMS.
WAR PENSIONS BOARD. By Telegraph.--Presi Association. Wellington, Tuesday. A sitting of the War Pensions Board was held to-day, when applications from twelve soldiers and sixteen dependents were dealt with, and pensions (were granted representing £B5l per annum. Four soldiers' applications were adjourned for medical report, two men were ordered to appear in person at the board's next meeting, and four applications were declined. One case was held over till the time expiry of applicants, and one soldier was granted the full pension of £9l yearly. la the cases of dependents, pensions were granted as follows:—One at £lOl per annum, one at £9l, one at £B4, oue at £7B, three at £BS, three at £52, one at £26, one at £lB, and one at £B.
