COAL MINE ON FIRE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, Sept. 21. A fire broke out in the shaft of the Exhall Colliery, Nuneaton. There were 250 men below and 200 wefts cut off. The majority were rescued. Ten bodies have been recovered. Nineteen miners perished in the fire. NEW SOUTH WALES FINANCE. Sydney, Sept. 22. The Auditor-General's report shows an increase of receipts of £507,999 compared with 1013. Direct taxation increased £627,011, railway and tramway receipts decreased by £24,055, the public debt increased by £11,040,374. The debt is now £137,735,405. Six State industrial undertakings aggregated a loss of £33,222 and eight aggregated a gain of £32,495, the net loss involved since the inauguration of the undertakings totalling £21,222.
