EMPIRE PICTURES. ~. "The Master Spy" has arrived, and will be shown in addition to the usual programme, which features "The Candle and the Moth," by the Nordisk Company. The lay preacher, John Raymond, was popular in his parish, in spite of the fact that he had once been a convict. His redemption, however, was destined to be the redemption of others. In the drama the story of John Raymond's life is shown with terrific accuracy. "On the Austro-Servian Frontier" is a picture of exceptional interest, and shows the gallant Servian army, while the "Australian Gazette" shows views and curtoons of the moment. "The Nameless Fear" is a gripping story by the Luhin Company. This drama shows the power of the imagination. A doctor, in order to obtain the money of a beautiful young girl who is under his guardianship, determines to destroy her reasoning faculties and make her insane. If it had sot been for the timely arrival of Fred Ray[mond, he would have succeeded, "Peanuts and Bullets" is a Keystone waeij, and deals with episodes in an Actors life, which causes cyclonic laughter. Two other comedies, "The Conjuror's Assistant" and "Too Much Burglar" complete this attractive Beries.
