At a meeting of the Otago branch of the Pipers' and Dancers' Association of New Zealand on Monday night at Dunedin. a letter was received from Mr. Wm. Gillespie, secretary of the Wairarapa Caledonian Association, asking support for a proposal to send a Highland regiment from New Zeu/;<.nd to the front. It was decided to support, the pitposal, and Mr. Kilgour, of I'abneiston Ncrth, an old member of the Ot'igo Association, was authorised to represent the Association at a conference at Palmerston North on September' 24th,—Press Association.
